When AMPEST receives your call we immediately start asking questions to determine what's going on at your home. We want to see if we can determine which pest or pests you are having problems with quickly. Once one of our expert administrative staff narrows down the problem with you over the phone, typically a quote for the needed service is given right then and there, on the phone. We can often have a pest control technician at your home for the initial clean out service within 24 to 48 hours, often even same day. Our technicians are well trained and have years of experience so any of our pest control specialists can get the job done, and get it done right. Initial service is typically a clean out service to remove the problem pest. We often schedule a follow up service to make sure the pest issue is resolved, we especially do this for roach or rodent calls.
Then, we gauge the situation on the follow up service. Our pest control technician will reinspect the area or areas where treatment was performed, making sure the pest activity is gone. If activity still persists then additional treatment options will be considered. If it looks like there's still work to be done to solve the problem, we would establish another follow up. Follow ups are generally, 7 to 10 days from the initial treatment. That is typically the standard length of time in between follow up services until a problem is brought under control. Often, however, the problem is remedied with the first treatment and you as a residential customer are all set. Our pest control technician may suggest some preventative maintenance as in a quarterly spray or other type of treatment to help keep your home protected moving forward. The preventative maintenance service is a great option to keep your pest problem from recurring.
There are no ongoing service agreements or contracts of any type needed for residential pest control customers. We never pressure any residential customer into any type of long term contract. Our pest control specialist will kindly suggest some of our preventative maintenance solutions and that's about it. Never any high pressure sales when you are working with AMPEST.
An inspection is a big part of the initial clean out service for pest control. We want to inspect what's going on, are the pests getting into the home through cracks and crevices or other entry points. Our goal at AMPEST Exterminating & Wildlife Control is to solve your pest problem, that’s why an inspection is so important. We are looking for areas of entry and once determined what’s going on for your specific situation we may suggest some exclusion work. Exclusion work, such as caulking, will keep insect and rodent pests from reentering the home. Again focusing on solving the problem and not just putting a band-aid on the pest issue. Without proper exclusion work it’s always possible your pest problem may return. We don’t want to just control your pest problem, our goal is to eliminate it. A proper residential pest control and exclusion strategy helps us do just that, seek to eliminate your pest problem!
