I am very impressed with the work that Ampest does. I've had them do mice control and this year added the mosquito/tick treatment. Have not seen a single mosquito since they've sprayed! Also, Steve is the best. Very knowledgeable and a super guy.
Let’s just say Steve our service technician went above and beyond working on our issue
Our homeowners association has used Ampest for vole removal for several years. I just yesterday used them personally for extermination of ants. From my original call to the appointment, was literally one day and The exterminator who came out was very friendly, very warm, very professional, and was in and out in no time. I can say this… I will not go back to the exterminator that I had used for the prior 30 years!
We ve used Ampest since moving to Downers Grove - Nick out personal service tech is best in a class all his own
We love working with AmPest. They are very prompt and efficient. If you have questions, they keep you updated and are quick to respond. And they work! We’ve been using them for many years, and will continue to do so.
Nick was very knowledgeable and took care of our problem quickly. We had an unwanted house guest in our chimney flue (aka squirrel). He called ahead to let me know when he would arrive. Would absolutely call them again if needed in future.
Joe from Ampest was very courteous and professional in dealing with the squirrels in my attic. If you never had squirrels you don’t know how loud and hellish they are but now I finally have some peace and quiet!
Matt, always dose a great job! I would have given 10 stars if I was able to.
I had a flying squirrel in my home. I actually had a hard time finding a company to do the work. Many that say they do rodent removal, don’t necessarily do it anymore, or they only trap and kill. But one company i spoke to recommended this one since they no longer did rodents. The gentleman i spoke with on phone, Eric i think, was so warm and kind even when i screamed bloody murder on the phone, because i heard the animal under my bed. He helped me realize it likely wasn’t a chipmunk, my initial guess, and that it was more likely a flying squirrel. We discussed options and he was able to send someone nex5 day between 1pm and 3pm. Their pricing was better than another company i spoke with as well. Day of service, i received timing updates from Joe, which was helpful. He came and caught the thing and humanely removed it. We were initially going to do a whole rodent program, but we are not sure of what the extent of situation is. He could’ve easily just set me up with more expensive option, but he didn’t. He had shoe coverings and was very knowledgeable, professional, and gave good advice. I’m so grateful it’s gone, yet it’s still alive. It was really cute, but does not belong in my house. I’m so glad this worked out and highly recommend.
This is my second time using AMPest. Both times I have been very happy with the service. Joe is super knowledgeable and takes the time to explain what's going on. The pricing is very reasonable. I will for sure be using AMPest should an issue arise in the future.
I don't normally do reviews but I felt it was important to leave a great review for amazing service. Nick (I think that was his name) was very professional, spent time inspecting the house for rodent openings and really looked in all parts of my home. I highly recommend and would not hesitate to call them out in the future.
One mouse in the utility room was the problem. The problem was resolved very quickly. I would not hesitate to call AMPEST again!
Great service !!Peter Gunter is the man for the job he did a great job in the house really happy with the service .
Nick was great to work with--good communication, professional, knowledgable, and great customer service! Thankful that he came to help
Nick was awesome. He was so knowledgeable and friendly. We saw almost immediate results, so grateful for their service.
Nick did an outstanding job helping us with our ant problem. He was prompt, thorough and extremely knowledgable. He explained exactly what he was going to be doing and even went out of his way to help protect out dog and dog toys so no harm would be done to her. I noticed the very next day our ants were gone!
My elderly mother had a squirrel problem nesting in gutter facia board. The problem was assessed and resolved promptly including patching the hole. Great communication by Joe to me including pictures during the process. Thank you!
Gunter from ampest was exceptional. Really cared and explained everything as he was doing it. Fully recommend
Overall 5 stars! Peter was very polite and answered all our questions. Thank you Peter for helping us get rid of that darn raccoon living in our attic.
I highly recommend AM Pest. These guys are professionals. If you want it done correctly, hire them. They removed squirrel that snuck its way into my attic.
We were very pleased with Steve from Ampest. He explained what was going on with our ant situation and did a thorough job spraying around our house. I showed him all the ants that I had vacuumed up in my Dustbuster which he we both thought was genius. :)
Despite our anxiety hearing that we had critters in our attic, AMPEST’s Joe Peifer put our minds at ease, setting traps and locating the entry origin of the flying 🐿️ After a week, the traps were empty and we were relieved! Now to call a roofer for repair. AMPEST’s Joe is a professional and knows his stuff. He is also a fascinating and likeable human! We made a new friend along the way ;-) Highly recommend!
Great experience. Called prior to coming and was on time. Easy to work with. Very nice and friendly. Appreciate working with this company!
Steve was awesome! He came out to spray for ants and explained what he was going to do. After he was done he mentioned that he moved my dogs toys away from the house so they wouldn’t get poison on them!! I was so appreciative,as I don’t know that someone else would have taken the time. I highly recommend Ampest 100%. We use them at our office and at home. I also want to mention Jane in the office she is quick to respond and always very helpful. Great company all around..
AM Pest came out same day and efficiently took care of a bunny problem in my garden. Thank you!
Ampest is the very reasonable and quick to respond. Joe really knows what he’s doing and goes the extra mile

AM Pest Exterminating & Wildlife were very responsive, educational and professional. I contacted them late morning and they were on site within 2 hours! It's a pleasure to work with Matt - he takes the time to educate as well as eliminate the problem!! Highly recommend!
Great company to work with. This is my second year. Condo area with chipmunks that like to dig underneath patio and make nests in window frame. Ampest is dedicated, considerate and friendly. Always get results.
Great experience from start to finish! They were able to schedule a service call in a timely manner. The technician was very knowledgeable, explained all options. Nick removed a bird nest in a fan exhaust vent. He also installed a bird-resistant vent cover to deter them from entering again. Highly recommend!
Nick did a fantastic job getting a family of raccoons out of our shed. Very professional, will use Ampest again!
The service delivered by this excellent technician, Nick, was efficient, fast, and well communicated. I’m glad he was able to squeeze me in on his busy schedule to remove the rats we had coming in as well as offer preventative measures we hadn’t thought about before. Glad I took the recommendation, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
Nick was professional and worked quickly to remove a bird nest with live hatchlings that was deep into our dryer vent.
I was very impressed by the time spent by Nick to get to the bottom of our concerns as well as provide us with the necessary next steps. Highly recommend!
Joe was awesome...polite, professional, knowledgeable and thorough! 100% positive review!
Great experience with Joe at Ampest Exterminating & Wildlife Control. He arrived on time and was super professional. Helped remove an empty bird nest on the eave of my porch over the winter. Super nice guy as well. Went above and beyond to make sure the nest doesn't return! Highly recommend! Thank you!!
Joe was very friendly and knowledgeable. He assessed our situation, and I believe that he is correct. He gave helpful tips to remediate the issue.
